NEW FOR 2023.

The website is being updated this year. New works will be added in the coming weeks and will show what I have been experimenting with in recent months………..new styles and new techniques. I shall also be selling some works on Facebook, exhibiting and opening my studio to clients and buyers once again, by appointment, so they can view work or discuss a commission.
Please feel feel to contact me for more information.

Visitors Favourite Painting.

Visitors to my recent solo exhibition in Stamford voted “Reflections III : Summer” their favourite picture in the exhibition.
This painting is the third from a series in which I looked at the effect of light and water during the different seasons of the year. They were painted in an abstract, free style and I shall be returning to the theme and style again. In future paintings I hope to expand the series introducing new themes, ideas and experimenting with an even wider range of materials.
To see the painting take a look at the Contemporary Colour section of my website where some of the series are displayed.

Exhibition From Here To The Coast : Then and Now

Take a look at my exhibition page to view a selection of the (approximately) 50 pictures which will be on display, in April, at the Willoughby Memorial Gallery , Corby Glen. Lincolnshire.
From time to time I shall add or rotate some the paintings, on my online gallery page, which you will then be able to see and purchase from the actual exhibition at the Willoughyby Memorial Gallery, in April.
I hope the exhibition will show the changes and development of my style, painting techniques and increasing experimentation with differing media over the last 3 years since I last had a solo exhibition. The natural world, land and seascapes, flora and fauna still play an important part in my work as I continue to explore colour, abstraction and an ever increasing use of different painting methods and materials.

Recently completed commissions.

Back in the Studio.

The last couple of months have been so busy. After the fun and success of the Stamford exhibition it has been quite a change of pace to return to the relative peace of the studio and my “real” world of canvas and paint. It was lovely to see so many family and friends and to meet so many customers both old and new. The people of Stamford were very welcoming and supportive so I look forward to exhibiting there again.
At the moment I’m working on commissions which will keep me busy into 2017 but I always welcome new enquiries and keep a “commissions” waiting list for interested clients so anyone considering commissioning a painting please do still get in touch.
The new range of open edition Giclee Prints on Cotton Canvas are becoming available now. So far they are proving really popular and selling quicker than I can restock!
Keep a look out for brand new prints, re-stocked favourites and of course new original paintings which I shall be uploading soon.
